VICE PRESIDENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES (VP HR) - ARM FINANCIAL OFFICE - ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI (MO)

ABOUT THIS JOB:

The Office of Human Resources at the ARM (American Regional Medical) Financial Office in St. Louis, MO, is seeking a full-time vice president (VP) of HR to become part of a dedicated team of healthcare support professionals.

The VP of HR at the ARM Financial Office is an extremely visible position that involves:

  • leading HR initiatives for recruitment, retention, and employee professional development
  • analyzing and presenting data on employee recruitment, retention, and satisfaction
  • advising senior management on HR-related issues
  • promoting a positive work environment, including implementing employee recognition and employee community volunteerism programs
  • educating employees on HR issues such as federal and state work rules, benefits and compensation, and safety in the workplace, and monitoring compliance
  • developing and implementing department budget

This is a weekday (M-F), day-shift position, although overnight and/or weekend travel is occasionally required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

  • BA degree in human resources, psychology, business management, or related field
  • 5 years successful experience in an HR or related field, with progressive levels of responsibility
  • Exceptional communication skills

Preferred

  • MA degree in human resources or related field
  • 7-10 years successful experience in HR or related field, preferably in healthcare business setting
  • Certification by national HR association

The successful candidate for this position will be subject to a pre-employment background check, including education transcripts, professional credentials, and at least three professional references.
